Anyone who has been following news in the United States recently has probably heard about the turmoil surrounding the separation of undocumented immigrant children from their parents at the southern border of the country.

It was a dramatic turnaround after he falsely said that his administration had no choice but to separate families apprehended at the border because of federal law and a court decision.

The Daily Mail sought out the father of the girl, and obtained more details about their asylum case - it turns out that the girl was not separated from her mother at all.
