Blankenship has repeatedly stated on the campaign trail that Morrisey is at fault for the opioid epidemic in West Virginia, and vows he will not support the attorney general if chosen as the Republican nominee. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) in November.

The former chief executive of Massey Energy, Mr. Blankenship served a year in federal prison following being convicted of trying to violate Parliament security rules after the Upper Big Branch mining crisis this year that promised 29 lives. Blankenship has recently come under fire for comments he made about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and McConnell's wife Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

"To the great people of West Virginia we have, together, a really great chance to keep making a big difference", the president tweeted Monday morning, reportedly at McConnell's behest.

He explicitly referenced the race at the end of the event, as he asked the audience to cheer for Jenkins or Morrisey in a demonstration of how the crowd planned to vote in the upcoming GOP senate primary.

Blankenship is running against Rep. Evan Jenkins and state Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.

Arsene Wenger receives tributes from Arsenal fans and players at Emirates
For 20 years, I just felt, "OK, forget about me, and just care about the problems you have to sort out". Wenger announced last month that he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

President Donald Trump weighed in on the West Virginia Senate race through a tweet Monday morning.

Both President Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have instructed West Virginians to vote against Don Blankenship in the GOP primary.

"We have a three-alarm fire in West Virginia", Republican strategist Ford O'Connell told Newsweek.

Blankenship has billed himself as an anti-establishment Republican in the vein of the unorthodox president, embracing the label that he is "Trumpier than Trump". "In the Senate, it's wonderful how much more the Democrats are able to put aside their differences", said O'Connell. "We need to win in November". It's not clear how or if he could ever run such a campaign in the Stare of West Virginia. Not on what Blankenship has said or what he believes. "Does Blankenship winning all of a sudden put this off the table for the Republicans?"

The victor will face Sen. "This thing has been going on within the Republican Party for some time and it resulted in Trump", he said.

Berkshire Hathaway now owns an estimated 240.3 million Apple shares, currently worth about $42.5 billion United States dollars . With a blend of wisdom and common sense, Buffett is more than just one of the most successful investors in American history.

Republicans a part of the race have been pressuring the White House to talk out, however, administration officials were not fully specific what Mr. Trump would perform before they watched that the conversation.

Trump supported Moore, who was accused of sexual assault against children, in the race against Democrat Doug Jones.

But that Mr. Trump would measure in the competition in any respect underscores how alarmed party officials are about Mr. Blankenship. No matter who wins, Democrats think they have a chance to pick up this seat, which Trump won by 11 points, in the special election in August.

Whether Trump and McConnell's opposition hurts Blankenship will be revealed Tuesday at the polls.
