Tuesday the company launched its new Amazon Key in-car delivery service. The service is available on millions of Amazon items and works with the same day, two-day and standard shipping options.

With in-car delivery - an opt-in features that only works with 2015 or newer Volvo, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles - Amazon will know the general vicinity of where a customer's vehicle is parked. If the roll-out goes well and more cars are added, it could strengthen Amazon's brand with shoppers. When consumers are ready to purchase, they select "in-car" at checkout rather than delivery to a home or office location.
