April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and a local organization is celebrating by decorating the town in blue. "So, we're here just trying to spread awareness of child abuse and show that we here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast stand against child abuse together".

Four white balloons represented the actual number of children in the county who died while in the system in 2017. The alleged victim in the case is a male that is over 12 years old and under 16. Child abuse does not discriminate by gender or race.
