North Korea ready to talk over nukes

U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are expected to meet before the end of May to talk about denuclearizing the regime.

"It's likely that Kim Jongun comes with an alternate significance in mind", Abraham Denmark, a former senior US defense official claimed, noting a possible denuclearization deal seems to be contingent on the USA generating the most suitable conditions.

US and North Korean officials have reportedly been hashing out terms of the agreement through back channels led by CIA Director Mike Pompeo - Trump's nominee to replace Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Both sides have met several times in a third country to determine a location for the historic summit, U.S. officials told CNN.

The government is holding a public hearing on May 15 for U.S. businesses to air concerns to administration officials. At this moment, China appears to be attacking states - and workers - that voted for Trump in the 2016 election.

CNN quoted USA officials as saying that the summit will be held at the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar - a proposal that North Korea has already relayed to the U.S., according Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun.

The confirmation offers the USA greater assurances that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is committed to a potential meeting with U.S. president Donald Trump by the end of next month.
