Flynn pleaded guilty in December to lying to the FBI about his discussions with Kislyak, becoming the first member of Trump's administration to agree to cooperate with Mueller's investigation.

According to The New York Times, Dowd was in contact with Manafort and Flynn's lawyers and talking about what they would say if they plead guilty and cooperated with Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian Federation.

As rumors fly about President Donald Trump's possible plans to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, recently departed Trump defense lawyer John Dowd is taking pains to praise Mueller and his investigation.

Dowd joined Trump's legal team last summer, and Flynn pleaded guilty in December.

In a statement, attorney Ty Cobb, who represents the White House, said there have been no pardons discussed related to the Russian Federation investigation.

Police Officers Involved In Alton Sterling's Death Will Not Be Charged
It also claims poor training and inadequate police procedures led to Sterling's death. A video of the shooting does show an officer removing a gun from Sterling's pocket.

"As I said, an on-record statement from the president's attorney, here at the White House, on these matters has said there's no discussion or consideration of this", Sanders said.

Flynn, a former national security adviser, pleaded guilty in December to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about contacts with the Russian ambassador and has agreed to work with the special counsel.

In October, Mueller indicted Manafort, Trump's former campaign manager, and his associate Rick Gates on charges of failing to register as agents of a foreign government, providing false statements about their lobbying work with the Ukrainian government, among other things.

The alleged conversations happened as special counsel Robert Mueller was building cases against Flynn and Manafort as part of Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Dowd, however, denied reports that he discussed any such pardons.

German court keeps former Catalan leader in detention
A spokeswoman for the German prosecutor's office said it would "probably not come this week" ahead of the four-day Easter holiday. A court in the German town of Neumuenster ordered Puigdemont to remain in custody pending possible extradition to Spain.

In July 2016 Manafort, then chairman of Trump's presidential campaign, emailed Kilimnik asking him to offer Deripaska "private briefings" about the campaign, according to the Washington Post.

While these allegations are still unconfirmed, the president has openly discussed potential pardons for former aides under investigation in the Russian Federation probe, according to two people with knowledge of the interviews who spoke with the Times.

Dowd did not respond to an additional request for comment.

However, he added that Dowd represented Trump in his personal capacity, as opposed to Cobb, who represents the White House.

The report provoked strong denials from the White House and Trump's attorneys.

Carles Puigdemont Arrested in Germany
Llarena ruled that a total of 25 Catalan separatists would be tried for rebellion, embezzlement or disobedience. Dpa photos showed a van with tinted windows believed to be carrying Puigdemont as it arrived at the prison.

"I don't want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet", he told a reporter. According to the document, Gates was aware of "Person A's" connection to Russian intelligence services.
