President Donald Trump met with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House on Tuesday for discussions focused on infrastructure and the Iran nuclear deal.

The Senate voted 55-44 Tuesday to table a resolution to stop US military spending that supports Saudi Arabia's combing campaign in Yemen, making the timing for Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman's visit impeccable. Additional protest are planned in Boston to coincide with Crown Prince Mohammed's multicity visit to the United States.

He said, "On the political level, the American president is trying to sell the crown prince to the American public, when Saudi Arabia's image is really bad".

The hard-charging Crown Prince Salman, heir to the Saudi throne, noted that the USA and Saudi Arabia have been allies for 80 years. His talk with Trump will likely include, among other things, a reaffirmation of Saudi plans to enrich uranium and match Iran's nuclear program.

Trump, the official said, urged Prince Mohammed to settle the festering battle that pits Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates against Qatar.

Soaking in Trump's plaudits in the Oval Office, Prince Mohammed said little and left most of the talking to his host, who offered an optimistic forecast of lucrative USA arms sales to the kingdom and more Saudi investment in the United States.

However, in Tuesday's meeting, Bin Salman said the plan exceeded expectations, doubling the number of investments between Saudi Arabi and the US. Trump said the military sales contributed to the creation of 40,000 American jobs.

The Crown Prince had previously managed the forum of Future Investment Initiative in October in Riyadh as part of the campaign to promote foreign investment in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia leads a coalition fighting the Houthi rebels, who are allegedly backed by Iran, but has come under criticism for strikes on civilian targets and blockades of humanitarian aid.

"Iran has not been treating that part of the world or the world itself appropriately", Mr. Trump told reporters.

THERE IS NO requirement for women in Saudi Arabia to wear a head cover or a full length robe as long as their attire is "decent and respectful", Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has said.

While Iran playing some role in the September 11, 2001, attacks is possible, it is also widely known that 14 of the 19 al-Qaeda terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia.

However, the vote served to highlight USA intervention in an escalating military conflict in the Middle East's poorest country, which the United Nations has described as the world's largest humanitarian disaster.

It was reportedly thanks to this bond that Trump chose Saudi Arabia as the destination for his first foreign state visit as President, despite objections from White House officials.

Jubeir insists the issue is of little matter in the broader picture of US-Saudi ties. "He lives in Iran and works out of Iran", bin Salman said.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in Washington for official talks at the White House on his first visit to the United States, which observers say is mainly meant to consolidate his grip on power at home and push for an ambitious nuclear deal.

'Everywhere we go in the Middle East it's Iran, Iran, Iran, ' he said a few days ago.
