Fortnite Already Made Millions of Dollars on the iOS Marketplace

Though the game is still only available on an invite-only basis, it has reportedly made $1.5 million in in-app purchased in just four days. Merely three days after its initial release on iOS, the game is already topping the charts in many regions, including but not limited to the USA, most of Western Europe, Australia, and is close to cracking the code behind the #1 spot of Japan and many other regional app stores.

The new limited time mode offers much faster matches compared to the typical Fortnite Battle Royale mode with a 15-minute time limit in place and increased resource gain, but Epic Games said that the initial increase in the resource gain rate was "a bit too abundant".
