Active weather Thursday includes ice, snow and plenty of rain

Tomorrow morning will wake up to a new dusting of snow, so plan on icy roads and some areas of packed snow. Don't expect these temperatures to change much throughout the day.

Weather service officials urged motorists not to drive onto flooded roadways and to find alternate routes. Northern Missouri saw about an inch or two of snow by daybreak before more sleet and freezing drizzle started to mix in late in the morning. Rain will continue through the night, gradually ending from northwest to southeast as temperatures fall below freezing.
