Raiders Awarded Four Compensatory Draft Choices

The Giants will receive an extra fourth-round selection in the upcoming draft after the National Football League announced its compensatory picks on Friday.

All four extra picks will come in the sixth round, with the Raiders receiving the 36th (210th overall), 38th (212th overall), 42nd (216th overall) and 43rd (217th overall) selections in the round. The Arizona Cardinals earned three of the 32 compensatory draft picks, including the earliest compensatory pick in the third round. Teams that lose an unrestricted free agent and do not replace him with a better free agent are eligible for a pick between the third and seventh rounds of the following draft.

The Cardinals had traded offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom to the Ravens for a conditional seventh-round pick last summer, but conditions were not met and the Ravens kept the pick.
