Firefighters help boy stuck in claw machine

The boy, known as Mason, had been eating with his family at a restaurant in Titusville when he sneaked off to try his luck at a nearby claw machine.

Without asking his parents for help, the toddler took matters into his own hands and climbed into the machine through a very tiny opening.

Getting caught in these toy claw machines is far more common than you might imagine. Mason was freed safely and he got the toy he wanted. The Titusville Fire and Emergency Services Facebook reports that after his rescue, Mason was able to get a stuffed animal.

Thankfully, an off-duty lieutenant happened to be there at the time.

A crew arrived and, "made short work of the situation", according to the Fire Department, adding that Mason was 'never in distress'.
