Russian money laundering probed at Trump's Doonbeg golf course

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released the transcript of the panel's interview with one of the co-founders of the investigation firm behind an infamous dossier about President Donald Trump's dealings in Russian Federation.

During his testimony before the House select intelligence committee on November 14, Simpson told investigators that none of the information Steele obtained about Trump stood out as improbable.

The release of the 165-page transcript of Simpson's interview, one week after California Democratic Sen Dianne Feinstein unilaterally published her committee's interview, is unlikely to change minds over the partisan fight that's broken out about the dossier and how it was used by the FBI in its investigation of Trump and Russian Federation.

US Congress has been asking questions about Donald Trump's funding of his Irish golf course - and whether it could have been financed with Russian mafia money.

Simpson testified that he had investigated a claim by the president's son Eric Trump that the Trump Organization had access to unlimited sums of Russian money available for the family's golf courses.

The committee's top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) bashed his Republican counterparts in a statement Thursday that said they have "refused to look into" the "key area" of whether the Trump Organization had engaged in money laundering with Russians.

Moto G6 Plus possibly caught on camera
The Moto G6 Play will sport a 5.7-inch screen with a 720p resolution, and not much else is known as of now. Under the hood, rumors have it that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Later in the House Intelligence hearing, Republican Party Congressman Tom Rooney said the stories that Mr Simpson was telling were "fascinating".

Recently released testimony shows Fusion GPS founder was trying to steer the FBI away from further investigation of the Clintons while he was encouraging investigators to look into Trump.

His interview with the House Intelligence Committee covers much of the same ground.

"We saw patterns of buying and selling that we thought were suggestive of money-laundering", he continued.

A former journalist, Mr Simpson works at Washington commercial research firm, Fusion GPS. "But in any event, we did look at some Kushner stuff and specifically focused on the project in Jersey City, I think partly because Trump had a position in that project", Simpson said.

"When Mr. Trump went to the Miss Universe pageant [in Moscow] in 2013", Simpson added, "Taiwanchik was there in the VIP section with Mr. Trump and lots of other Kremlin biggies".

Erdogan: NATO must take stance against USA over border force
One recent development appears to have brought forward Turkey's plans to clear YPG fighters from Afrin and Manbij. Erdogan said the imminent military operation is to "purge terror" from near its borders.

"So there's a couple of...the big condo tower deals offshore, outside the United States, I think both of those are in bankruptcy now, Mr Trump is no longer associated with them".

He said: "A lot of what I do is analyse whether things make sense and whether they can be explained".

In the testimony, Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson discusses details about how his firm came to hire former British spy Christopher Steele to lead the investigation.

He said he was not aware of Steele paying any of his sources, while defending his methods of gathering information.

"We did not ask permission from the client to do that".

Ever since Feinstein released the testimony on January 9, House Intelligence Committee Democrats have been asking that Simpson's testimony to their committee be made public.
