"As the world's first consumer modular MicroLED television, 'The Wall" represents another breakthrough, ' Jonghee Han, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said yesterday.

Samsung is going all-out on the TV front with a few new 8K TVs to show off, with the company introducing the world's first modular TV, coming in at a huge 146 inches. Samsung said The Wall is a self-emitting TV with micrometer (µm) scale LEDs - which are much smaller than current LEDs and serve as their own source of light. However, the company has confirmed that The Wall is a consumer product, not a prototype or proof-of-concept model (which is a much more common sight among huge TVs at CES). The MicroLED screen is also attributed with excelling in durability and effectiveness, including luminous efficiency, the light source lifetime and power consumption.

Samsung is due to launch The Wall in the United States and South Korea later this year, though its Australian arrival has yet to be confirmed.

Khloe confirmed the fact that she and Tristan are discussing marriage, but they will leave things the way they are for the moment. Khloe , who wore a tight white dress on the show, also said she plans to avoid wearing maternity clothes "as long as possible".

"It's groundbreaking", said Andrew Sivori, vice president of TV marketing at Samsung Electronics America, "There hasn't really been, for all intents and purposes, a new TV technology in nearly 10 years".

Additionally, viewers can customize sizes and shapes, and can even find pleasure in the adaptive abilities of the TV for other purposes like a wall-size display creation that suits multiple spaces. Employing a proprietary algorithm for resolution adjustment, it consistently improves image quality, and can "easily transform" any content from any source into 8K high-resolution!

This 8K solution maximizes the viewing experience through several new features. 2018 Samsung Smart TVs will also offer easier sharing and connectivity, thanks to SmartThings, Samsung's IoT platform hub. This year will further see the launch of Universal Guide that can readily recommend TV programs as per user preference.
