Cameron Jordan pokes fun at Cam Newton after Saints' win

Jordan, always quick with a joke, especially after a win, has taken pokes at Newton's sense of style, and the Panthers quarterback responded in kind in November by saying he'd send Jordan some "sauce".

There's just one problem: Newton never left the sideline, instead going into the medical tent only briefly, which flies in the face of the recent update to the concussion protocol.

He was examined by medical personnel and was cleared to reenter the game.

Jordan got the last word by making the game-saving play in Sunday's 31-26 victory over the Panthers in their wild-card playoff game - plowing through two blockers to force an intentional grounding penalty (although Carolina coach Ron Rivera disagreed with the grounding call).

Oakland Raiders set to sign Jon Gruden to landmark deal
Oakland had previously traded Gruden to Tampa Bay for four draft picks after Gruden spent four seasons with the team. According to Raiders report Steve Corkran, Jon Gruden is set to become the next head coach of the Raiders.

Under recent modifications made to the NFL's procedures for evaluating and dealing with possible concussions suffered by players during games, any player who stumbles or falls must be taken to the locker room for evaluation.

However, the question could become whether or not Newton should have been taken to the locker room for evaluations.

But the investigation did lead to the National Football League announcement of new concussion protocol last month.

Newton spent time on the ground after the hit.

Meltdown and Spectre flaws also affect all Apple Mac and iOS devices
Apple explains that Meltdown "has the the most potential to be exploited", while Spectre is "extremely difficult" to exploit. Apple said, 'These issues apply to all modern processors and affect almost all computing devices and operating systems.

Rivera did not believe Newton had not demonstrated any post-concussion symptoms Monday. "I appreciate him. So I'm gonna send him some sauce", Jordan said - an obvious reference to Newton's earlier comments.

'But if dazed Newton hadn't dropped down to the field himself, no one would have done or said a thing. He was surprised to see Newton return to the game, he said.

The Panthers' handling Sunday of Newton's injury drew criticism by Chris Nowinski, the founding CEO of the Concussion Legacy Foundation. Jordan said. "Look, he like spun". This might be worst - with the Saints' standout pass rusher sending a special gift to Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

"We tried to force him to be uncomfortable, we tried to force him to make errors, and I don't think he made many", Jordan said.
