The Oakland Raiders officially announced the hiring of Jon Gruden as their next coach Saturday night, The East Bay Times reported.

In leading off the telecast of Saturday afternoon's wild-card game between the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs, ESPN play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough wasted no time revealing one of the worst-kept secrets in sports. Gruden, who has been off the sidelines for nine years, is breaking records with a $100 million contract for 10 years. He has a 95-81 career record.

Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Thursday
Wednesday's winter storm warning in Tallahassee was the first in nearly four years, reported The Weather Channel . Thursday morning through late evening, wind gusts are likely to reach over 50 miles per hour along the coastline.

With Gruden's impending return to the Silver & Black sidelines, it seems like the flawless time to take a look back at one of the most famous (infamous?) trades in Raiders history.

His tenure ended shortly after the "Tuck Rule" loss to the New England Patriots when he was traded the following month to Tampa Bay for two first-round draft picks, two second-rounders and $8 million.

North Korea hit its own city in missile launch blunder
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has ordered top scientists to build the country's largest rocket yet, according to a defector. Since April, North Korea has continued to launch missiles, including two intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) over Japan.

The Buccaneers, with Gruden, won Super Bowl XXXVII on January 26, 2003 (48-21). Raiders have rehired coaches before but the results were not what they were hoping. Could he be the man to replace Gruden on ESPN? When Jon Gruden returns to the Raiders as head coach, he will be bringing along Greg Olson as his offensive coordinator.

"There's a great legacy on 'Monday Night Football, ' " McDonough said.

Nokia 6 (2018) impromptu photo shoot surfaces
The design of the smartphone did not change dramatically, however, there are some things that have changed, and only for the best. Like clockwork, HMD has launched the second generation of the Nokia 6 , around the same time frame, once again in China.

Gruden, who coached the Raiders from 1998 to 2001 and has been working as an ESPN analyst, was the leading candidate to return to Oakland even before the team fired head coach Jack Del Rio after last Sunday's season finale. In 2011 he was on camera for the Outback and Orange Bowl games.
