1 deputy dead, four wounded at apartment complex outside of Denver

DCSO was involved in a pursuit following an attempted felony stop.

Deputy Jason Blanchard was quaoted by the paper as saying: "We have multiple officers down".

A number of Sheriff's deputies were shot Sunday morning near Denver and a SWAT team is at the scene of the home, Douglas County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lauren Lekander told the Denver Post. Deputy should be ok and suspect in custody.
