Aspyr Media released Thursday Sid Meier's Civilization VI on iPad, the first game from this great franchise to come to iOS.

For iPad, Civilization VI requires iOS 11.0 or later and will run on an iPad Air or newer, iPad mini 2 or newer, or any iPad Pro model.

To make sure players feel comfortable with that purchase, they are offering the iPad port for free for the first 60 turns, which effectively makes it a free-to-play timed title. Civilization VI is now on sale for $30 until January 4.

London Zoo fire injures 9 people, kills Misha the aardvark
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said the fire broke out in a cafe and shop near the Meerkat enclosure and an animal petting area. The tweet said: "ZSL London Zoo is now dealing with an incident on site after a fire broke out".

This game is nearly like the total version of Civilization VI that you get on PC.

"It is rare for a premium game experience from PC/Mac to launch on iPad, and it's important to note this isn't a trimmed-down mobile version of Civilization VI". The original game, for example, was released for around 9 platforms originally, finding itself ported to many years later due to its importance in strategy game history. Firaxis Games developed the PC version, but the Linux and Mac versions are courtesy of Aspyr.

Instead of a scaled down mobile version of the epic game, the iPad version seems to include a fully-featured game, complete with huge, sprawling empires that players can build and battle with. However, the game's previous attempts at mobile ports are not exactly that great.

Jack Wilshere admits Arsenal were 'scared' of Liverpool before mounting Emirates comeback
Milner told Sky Sports Premier League: 'When you are in a position like that at this level you've got to see the game out. Both teams will be going into the game on high spirits, with each having won its last couple of games. "Salah gets free.

If $60 is too much for you, then you're in luck (kind of). Multiplayer is available, but only through LAN. Regarding add-on content, Aspyr said, "We hope to support DLC and expansions in the future but can not confirm timing or availability at this time".

The Civilization 6 iPad port will apparently be a near-complete port of the original game, though the upcoming Rise and Fall expansion and apparently other DLC won't be included along with it. Aspyr has said, however, that they plan to implement DLC sometime in the future even if they can't now guarantee a timeline.
