Bethany Lynn Stephens, 22, tragically passed away after her two pit bulls allegedly mauled her to death while she was taking them out for a walk on December 12.

Bethany Lynn Stephens, 22, was found just after 8:15 p.m. Thursday in a remote area in the 2200 block of Manakin Road in Goochland County.

"There were various articles of clothing, underclothing scattered about the area not far from the body and torn into small pieces, there were patches of blood", Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew shared from the preliminary report.

"The victim had defensive wounds on her hands and arms trying to keep the dogs away from her, which would be consistent with being attacked while she was still alive", Agnew said.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli left for Rome for their honeymoon
Now we can tell you that the couple had left Borgo Finocchieto, where they got married, yesterday at 3 pm for a Roman honeymoon. Top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has designed the wedding ensemble for both the bride and the groom.

According to police, the woman's father reported her missing and called 911 saying he hadn't seen his daughter in almost two days.

"Either something frightened them or there was an altercation between the two dogs that [Stephens] happened to be in the middle of", Paul added. What he found was two dog guarding what he first believed was an animal carcass.

"Those dogs would not attack her", said Norris. Agnew says it took deputies hours to wrangle the dogs, which he estimated weighed as much as Stephens.

Friends said Ms Stephens had received death threats before the tragedy, which was another reason why they questioned whether the dogs were to blame, WRIC reported.

Chelsea cruise to comfortable 3-1 win at Huddersfield
Huddersfield manager David Wagner will be without on-loan midfielder Kasey Palmer, who will be ineligible to face his parent club. Huddersfield winger Tom Ince believes life will be made very uncomfortable for Chelsea when they visit the John Smith's Stadium.

Police say Stephens was found dead in the woods after being mauled to death by the dogs. Was it actually something else that attacked the owner?

Learn did not know Stephens or her dogs. Agnew described the scene as one of the most grisly he had seen in his 40 years of law enforcement.

"A lot of people are saying [the dogs] wouldn't guard if they killed, but the reality is if it's a resource, they may guard that as their food source or their toy the same way that a dog might guard a bone on a blanket", Paul explained. "When we looked at the kennels, they looked like they had been broken open and went to go help her".

"That's not something I would normally see", she said. Stephens was 5-feet-1 and 125 pounds, weighing roughly the same amount as her dogs.

Mikheil Saakashvili, Ex-President of Georgia, Arrested in Ukraine, Again
The arrest boosted rising tensions in a country that has already been shaken by massive protest uprisings twice in this century. Saakashvili was stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship by Poroshenko in July while overseas and is now stateless.

The dogs were being held by animal control and were set to be euthanized, Agnew said on Friday.
