Trump discounts accusations against Senate candidate Moore

White House panel discussion on Trump's endorsement of Moore, MSNBC analyst John Heilemann explained that there was no "moral consistency or ethic consistency" to Trump's decision to toss his support behind Moore because all Trump "cares about is himself". He has, after all, been accused of sexual assault by over a dozen women and continues to insist that they're all liars.

"I'll be letting you know next week", he said, when asked whether he will campaign with Moore.

Asked by reporters Tuesday whether or not Franken should resign, Trump equivocated but did try to talk about a broader cultural moment of women feeling emboldened to come forward with accusations of various types of sexual misconduct, including sexual harassment and sexual assault - even as he declined to say he believes the women who have made allegations against Moore.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has said Trump found the allegations against Moore "very troubling", but believed Alabama voters should decide Moore's fate.

"Doug Jones in Alabama, folks, don't be fooled", Conway said. He says of the Alabama race: "We don't need a liberal person in there".
