USA and South Korea agree to 'stronger' sanctions against North Korea

During an interview with CBS on Sunday, Tillerson said the Trump administration's strategy on Pyongyang involves a (quote) "peaceful pressure campaign", which is aimed at bringing the regime back to the table for constructive and productive dialogue.

Still, they were less harsh than those initially proposed by the USA - and Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the United Nations, spoke ominously of the possible failures of diplomacy.
