Palace announces Prince William, Kate expecting third child

Adding another person to the family is just one more person I can spend my time obsessing about. What good news for the couple that will soon enlarge his family.

But it is not yet clear whether the Duchess, who is less than 12-weeks pregnant, will be well enough to join the school run.

Officials from Kensington Palace announced on Monday morning, that Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are expecting another baby, a sibling for Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two. The news definitely came as a surprise for both the British public and the royal family behind closed doors.

The 32-year-old prince went on to reassure the press of his sister-in-law's state, following the news that she is again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Due to this, she canceled her scheduled engagement at the Homsey Road Children's Centre in London on the same day.

Kate is now being treated for the pregnancy complication at Kensington Palace and did not attend the conference.

"Hyperemesis gravidarum is not your typical morning sickness". The palace did not detail how far along the princess is but speculations are that she was already pregnant when the royals visited Poland last July. If this were true, that would put her due date sometime in April 2018. When she was handed a cuddly toy meant for an infant, she reportedly turned to William and said, "We will just have to have more babies".
