Samsung Pay Announces Partnership to Allow Users to Pay via PayPal

If you use Samsung Pay, you can now choose PayPal as a payment method whether you're cashing out in-store, on the web, or in an app.

Coming soon, consumers in the US will be able to use PayPal within Samsung Pay at millions of retailers.

Along with extending PayPal's usability at physical stores, the collaboration between the two companies should also support Samsung Pay online. Moving into the next phase of new and innovative services for Samsung Pay, we are delighted to have MobiKwik on board as a partner. Now consumers will be able to make payments easily on Samsung's budget and mid-range phones.

Customers will be able to use their Samsung Pay to access and use their PayPal wallet, letting them make a payment in millions of stores. What's more, PayPal Braintree support also means that online merchants will also support the payment option. Samsung phones have MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) hardware under the hood, which makes Samsung Pay usable at outlets where debit or credit cards are accepted.
