Patriots, Julian Edelman Reach Agreement On Contract Extension

After another incredible season capped off with the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, Julian Edelman was rewarded by the Patriots with a new multiyear contract extension. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots and their top receiver have in fact agreed to terms on a new deal that will keep him with the defending champs beyond the 2017 season.
