New documents released late Tuesday afternoon by Jupiter, Florida, police reveal that both tire rims on the driver's side of the Mercedes had minor damage and the front and rear tires on that side of the vehicle were flat.

Tiger Woods dominated headlines early this week after it was reported that the golf legend had been arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The 41-year-old golfer was arrested on Monday in Jupiter, where he has a home, and charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The police report, obtained by TMZ, said: "He flunked the field sobriety test badly ... he couldn't do the one-leg stand or the nose touch".

Woods said in a statement Tuesday that alcohol was not a factor, and that prescription medication was the cause of his physical reaction.

The 14-time major victor has blamed the DUI arrest near his home in Jupiter, Florida on an adverse reaction to prescription medication.

Much more of that sort of that will likely follow over the next week, filling time before Golden State plays host to Game 1. NOTES: Cleveland's 109 points through three quarters marked the most the Celtics have allowed in the shot-clock era.

In 2009, Woods was involved in a high-profile divorce after he was injured in a minor auto accident in his driveway during an altercation with his then-wife, Elin Nordegren, due to infidelities he publicly admitted to. Furthermore, his reference to taking various prescription medications seems consistent with treatment for his chronic back ailments.

Woods will face an arraignment hearing on July 5 before Judge Sandra Bosso-Pardo.

This was not Woods' first run-in with Florida police.

He also missed the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March as he recovered from the spasms and missed the Masters the following month for the third time in four years. "Hopefully he's OK. I'm kind of wanting to find out more about the story and hope all is well".

The golfer acknowledged that doctor-prescribed pharmaceuticals were involved in that incident, and police did not make an arrest at the time.

ESPN has been forced to claim Tiger Woods' unkempt hair was not too much to air.

He also was cited for improper parking.

"I would like to apologise with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans", Woods said Monday.

"Pete worked with him, and [Tiger] had his trainer with him, and the trainer asked some very good questions".

Police in the affidavit noted that Woods had apparently used four medications for "4 left knee surgeries" and "4 Achilles" - among the injuries that have required surgeries over the years and forced him out of major competition. Woods, who is second on the all-time list with 14 major titles, said he cooperated with police and wanted to thank the Jupiter Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office for their professionalism.
