Growing Brush Fire Rages In Brentwood

More than 115 firefighters were on scene as the flames moved uphill through heavy brush.

Firefighters also tackled another brush fire reported near Lake View Terrace around 11:30 a.m. PT on Sunday. The fire is located in the 2900 block of N. Mandeville Canyon Road in Brentwood, northwest of the Getty Museum.

The blaze burning Sunday in the Mandeville Canyon area above Brentwood is sending up a huge plume of smoke visible across much of the Los Angeles basin.
