Posters for the "Blade Runner" sequel, "Blade Runner 2049", were released on Thursday and the response to them has been. mostly hilarious.

It focuses on Ryan Gosling's new protagonist and gives us a glimpse of a sleeker and cleaner future. "We keep order." There are also quick shots of flying cars and Gosling' Officer K in a trenchcoat walking slowly. While the imagery certainly mirrors the original Ridley Scott film, director Denis Villeneuve looks to be working with a color palette that is both depressing and striking at the same time.
