Committing to a twice-per-year feature release schedule is created to make updates "more manageable and predictable for easier enterprise deployments", wrote Bernardo Caldas, General Manager, Windows Commercial Marketing in a Microsoft blog post. They will be pushed to the users as soon as they're ready.

There will be fewer releases for the basic enterprise version of the Office and Office 365 ProPlus because Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus and Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager are now aligned on the same schedule.

To date, predicting when Microsoft would roll out new feature upgrades to Windows 10 and Office has been a guessing game for IT pros. Microsoft's Bernardo Caldas, who is the General Manager for Windows Commercial Marketing, confirmed this schedule in a new blog post on the company's official site. However, the three feature updates released so far have been spaced further apart compared to the new plan.

Oil Gains After Saudi Arabia Backs Deal to Extend Global Supply Cuts
A recent report from oil consultant Wood Mackenzie offered more good news for the offshore business. OPEC data showed members of the group had cut March output beyond the level they had promised.

Microsoft is also planning to finish off on Redstone 3 in September release window but it is worth pointing out that it traditionally releases the code a month after the code is completed. Select the app you want to switch off power throttling and toggle Manage by Windows to off. The Redmond outfit had previously said the latter would be one of two major updates to Windows 10 this year, the next of which we now know will roll out in five months. Moreover, Microsoft is adding a lot of new Office 365 application compatibility, upgrade assessment tools and monitoring, to try to make Office 365 ProPlus upgrades much easier.

Similar to the current schedule, Windows 10 feature upgrades will continue to be serviced and supported for 18 months, receiving routine security and cumulative updates.

The company is also hosting a Windows as a service AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m.to 10:00 a.m. PT.

It would match the 15 percent tax on foreign home buyers that the Pacific coast city of Vancouver has implemented. The good news is that the measures announced today are unlikely to send the market into a tailspin.

Microsoft's Windows 10 has proven extremely popular with the U.S. technology firm revealing that there are over 400 million active devices across the world.

There's no doubt that Instagram is cranking up the heat with this new update, especially if we also consider their recently announced offline mode.
