It looks like there's no stopping Facebook from its copying spree that has resulted in Snapchat's "Stories" feature now coming to Facebook's main application.

Facebook will start globally rolling out three features today on iOS and Android that strongly resemble Snapchat.

Facebook indicated that its camera is carrying about dozens of effects such as frames, interactive filters and masks. They also have movie tie-in masks for Alien: Covenant, Despicable Me 3, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and Wonder Woman.

Bungie announces Destiny 2
It's potentially not just Xbox One owners who will feel the full brunt of the PS4 timed-exclusivity arrangement for Destiny 2 . The poster has leaked from GameStop Italy and suggests that PlayStation 4 players will have early beta access to the game too.

Facebook seems to be copying Snapchat's homework again - as it introduced a Stories-style feature to its main app for the first time. Don't worry, these photos and videos won't appear on your Timeline or in the News Feed unless you post them there.

Finally, Direct is essentially Snapchat's core functionality redux: Facebook users can send direct messages, photos and videos to friends that disappear immediately after they're opened. The Direct icon is reportedly displayed on the top left corner above the News Feed. The company disclosed that it has added an option known as Direct meant for sharing individuals videos and photos with particular friends for a limited period of time.

Similar to Snapchat and Instagram, the Stories will disappear in 24 hours.

Producer Viki Rajani is quoted saying, " Chanda Mama Door Ke is a big venture that requires a lot of pre-production work". While the story of the film is a closely guarded secret, it is reportedly set in 1971 and based on true events.

With this new update, users will see rounded profile pictures at the top of their Facebook application.

And since then, it has cloned some of Snapchat's most popular features in an all-out effort to maintain dominance in the arena of photo and video communication. The new camera update in combination with stories puts Facebook in the ideal position to take on newly public Snap Inc., the makers of Snapchat who turned down an offer from Facebook in 2013.
